My paternal family is 'Mackenzie'. The 'Mackezie/Mc' name came over from Glasgow Scotland in 1842 according to the documents my paternal grandfather provided to me on his death bed of the early Scotish settlers in the Walworth County, WI area. As the documentation goes, there were three brothers (Murdock Mackenzie b. 1810, Roderick Mackenzie b. 1825 and young brother Murdock Mackenzie b. 1826 'and' one sister Barbara nee Mackenzie who married Alexander Matheson who the Elkhorn Library, Walworth County, Elkhorn, Wisconsin is named after.

Want more connections to the 'Mackenzie/Mc' name of East Troy, Troy, and Wisconsin please do not hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,
Patti Sue Jeanne Mackenzie
