I have here a copy of a death registration for William Arbuckle for 1879. He was a school master in Barra but he was born in Strath on Isle of Skye. Williams parents were John Arbuckle & Margaret ??????.
William was married to Effy McGiggan but I do not know if she was from Strath or he married her when he went to Barra.
Margaret's name is hard to read. I have looked at other sites and wondered if the name McGiggan could have changed to another spelling. Any help deciphering this would be appreciated.
