Donald Ross married Jessie MacKenzie. They had the following children, Donald, b. Unk.,William, b.abt 1808, Allan, b.abt 1809, Ann, b. abt 1811, John, b. abt 1816, Roderick, b. abt 1820, Alexander, b. abt 1824, and Kenneth, b. abt 1827. I would like to find the origins of this family. They emigrated to Cape Breton about 1828 from Stornaway, Lewis. From records there it seems they were only on Lewis for a short time, and may have come there from the Isle of Skye.
