Hi,
My Great Great Great Grandfather, Angus MacDonald and his wife, ______Smith (do not know first name) and thier children including Ann or Annie, Lewis, and my great great grandfather Angus MacDonald (1826-1900), nicknamed "Little Angus" and maybe other children emigrated from Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Scotland in 1834 to Boularderie Island, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. "Little Angus" I think was born in Tolsta, Isle of Lewis. I don't think they lived in Stornoway.
They just came from there. My Great Great Great grandfather Angus MacDonald (who remarried after ___Smith died and had more kids) was a farmer on Boularderie Island and he got a grant of land there in 1834, when he emigrated. Angus MacDonald or "Little Angus" married Sarah McLeod (1840-1914) and they had many children including my great grandfather Norman Edward MacDonald. Angus and Sarah decided to move to Ontario in 1878 but after packing and selling there farm to a Mclean family they decided not to go at the last minute, they thought it was not ment to be, something like that. So they relocated to Glace Bay, Nova Scotia. I have more info this was just a excerpt.
If any one has connections with this Cape Breton family or info on the family or anything please email me. Especially the early part of the family.
