I have my G.Granfather (john Brown ) Who married Agnes Hardie born in 1864, He was the Son of Jessie and John. My G.G.G Grandparents as near as I can determine were William Brown ,and Catherine Pettigrew on John who married Jessie Wedding Certificate it just states on his wedding lines that his Mother was Catherine Pettigrew ( I just assumed they were not married) Williams Parents I think were George and Margeret. my 4 times Great Grand parents . I did find Janet's death certificate she died on June 7th 1864.I hope this helps rather than confusing it even more.......Tony
