I am looking for this farm which was occupied in 1808 by a William Williams and his wife Margaret when their daughter Margaret was baptised at Capel Gwalchmai. The details both on n/c records and freereg say that the parish is Llangwyfan but the baptism was at Capel Gwalchmai. I have studied Cassini map for 1839 and am struggling to locate Ynys Felin. There is a windmill at Ty Croes near to the station - and I went on geograph and found that next to that windmill there is a ruined homestead - could this be Ynys Felin ???Anyone local out there happen to know anything about this area?? I have been to both churches at Llangwyfan. My nain and taid married at the Church in the sea. Margaret Williams bap 1808 was my gt gt grandmother and shemarried a John Evans and lived in Aberffraw. My last posting - I had no replies - I would be thrilled to hear from anyone this time - please...................Thanks a lotMenai.
