Remarkably, at one time in the 19th century, the neighbours in the next three houses were all distant relatives of mine !(I know that doesn't help you all that much !. The area has a monthly, welsh-language newspaper called 'Eco'r Wyddfa'which contains local news and articles for Brynrefail, Llanberis, Deiniolen and Llanrug.
