Has anyone ever heard of this hamlet? On old maps of Llandegai, it is situated close to Glan Bethlehem, or a chapel of that name. Believed to be buried under the slate.

Looking for Miriam 1788 who married Evan George of Llandegai. Sometime between 1863 and 1871, after the death of Evan & Miriam, the remaining eldest son Edward Evans George, abandoned the name of George, adopting the surname of Evans. This applied to the whole family, including his Widowed sister-in-law, Jane George. She became Jane Evans and also changed her children's surnames to the same.

The burning question is WHY?
