Almost all my information re the Owen side of my family is on my website. The section on Edward is at http://owen.cholerton.org/08_edward_00.php . I'm afraid that chapter is the least extensive & least interesting of all the sections about James Owen's offspring; most of his other children led more colourful lives. To my knowledge 'my' Edward's son, Bernard, had no children unless by a liaison after he left his wife & only one of Edward's daughter's sons survived to adulthood. I did have an old family tree which suggested Edward had another son but I was unable to find any evidence of his existence.
Thus, it seems unlikely that 'my' Edward is also 'your' Edward but please let me know if he is.
