I know this is 12 years after your post, but I currently live in Dolgwyddau ("Geese Meadow") formerly known as Blaen Clydan ("Before/Front of Clydan". The river Clydan runs through here) and am trying to find out its history. If I get that far back (I'm only back to 1925 so far), I will let you know. Good luck on your search!
