Can anyone give me any details on EVAN JONES or his family. Evan believed to have been born circa 1805, he was married to a Margaret UNKNOWN, b. circa 1802.
Evan and Margaret kept the PLOUGH AND HARROW INN, at PENUWCH, from about 1840 to 1880, this is now the home of John Roderick Rees, called Bears ill.
Children, Margaret, Mary,Ann, Rachel,Timothy and Thomas.
I believe that after leaving the Inn, he lived at the dwelling called BLAENCLEDAN, now knon as DOLGWYDDAU or some such name.
These are my Great, great, Grandparents on my Mothers side of the family.
