Classification: Query
Surnames: LEWIS, HOWELL, BOWEN
I have recently discovered this branch of my tree. The Rev Owen LEWIS (1788 - 1870) is my 4x great grandfather. He lived and farmed at Penrhiw Uchaf until some time before 1861 when his son David LEWIS took over the farm. From 1851 onwards he was listed as a Calvinistic Methodist Minister.

Owen was married to Margaret (though I am not sure if she was a DAVIES or a THOMAS, or even both!). His parents were David Lewis HOWELL of Llanddeusant (patronymic) and Ann BOWEN of Brecon.

I have the information from the available census returns and a few bits and pieces from other trees on Ancestry. I am particularly looking for any biographical information on this person and would also like to hear from anyone also researching this line.
