Hello Angharad
Many thanks for getting in touch. Yes I'm definitely still interested, I'm finding it quite tough researching my Welsh roots as census details are often conflicting. Snippets of family memories are often revealing leads.
I remember very clearly my grandfather Edwin Williams often mentioned he'd "sat in parliament" (i.e he'd sat in the pews of the House of Commons) and had been given a tour of Parliament by his MP relation. The most likely connection seems to be through his mother Sarah Davies who came from Rhos, her mother was Rebecca Jones.
However his paternal grandmother was also a Jones, Hannah Jones of Llanfair (circa 1842-), though I presume it's a different family.
Any suggestions are very much appreciated.
