I am g-g-g-g granddaughter of richard Ellis,and also direct descendant of Roger and sarah ellis who died in 1829 and whose gravestone is in the memorial garden in Ruabon.I have a comprehensive family tree and have traced th ellis family back to 1680 when they first arrived.Next task is to find out where they came from as Samuel was not born or baptised in the village as far as parish registers go.Susie Ellis
