I got so excited to find my Wood family grave that I never explored to find the Lamb crypt.
I had read about the Lamb crypt in a death notice. Here you are: "The remains of John T. Lamb [he was Thomas John actually b.1861 d.1895] son of the late Mr. [Thomas] Lamb [b.1823 and his wife Harriet Shone] brickmaker of Hoole Road, Chester, who died on Thursday were interred in the family vault in Bistre churchyard. The coffin was followed to the grave by a large number of friends and relatives from Chester". My comments in the brackets. The article was in the Cheshire Observer 11th May 1895. J.T.L. died 9th May 1895.
I have had no response from the clergy at Hawarden. joniloo was very helpful and found the Wood grave for me.
Sorry not to be able to help...............Gina in Canada
