Has anyone any knowledge of Mary Cave born 1836-37 per the 1901 Census.

I am trying to confirm (or not, as the case maybe) if she was the Mary Roberts born in Mold 1835-37 (census info varies) and who subsequently married Richard Cave, originally from Halsall, Lancs but moved to Cilcain/Nannerch area. One of their sons was Edward Cave who was my great grandfather. I was led to believe Edward was a "Chapel Man" being very much against the demon drink. It would be very interesting if I could prove Mary at the Swan was indeed his mother.

If it is indeed my Mary, she was not at the Swan for long. On the 1891 census my Mary was living in Cilcain. Her husband Richard at the time was at his sister's house in Ormskirk, so I don't know what happened there. My Mary I think died in 1905.

I would be very grateful if anyone could help me with the identity of the Mary Cave at the Swan. By the way, there was another Mary (aged 11) there but her relationship to Mary Snr is not shown.

Many thanks.
