thanks for the full name of Vinus (various records as Vinous Venious Vine Vincent and finally Victus ) great name isn't it ? Alice was Alice Eden Vinus' 2nd wife Alice Stringer his 1st wife died in childbirth 1822 .Vinus and Alice Eden were my Gt Gt Grandparents. We are coming to the UK in May 2012 and will be going to Hollinsgreen I will look for the cottages hopefully they're still there. since posting on the message board I have found a lot of info but have been using genes reunited , I had forgotten how to access the ancestry message boards . If you have anymore info on the Hankinsons or Barlows (The Boat House Inn) I would love to hear.
