There is a John Elliott (born Ireland, c1840) married to Margaret (born Ireland, c1836) living in Cemmaes, Llanbadrig on Anglesey in 1871 and 1881. They are shopkeepers and have children William Henry and Hannah Catherine, both born in Llanbadrig.
Llanbadrig is on the north coast of Anglesey, but not too far from Holyhead.

In 1891 and 1901, Margaret and Hannah are living in Greatham, Durham, England. Margaret is the Assistant Matron at Greatham Hospital. Margaret states that she is married on both occasions but there is no sign of John?
William Henry has also moved to the north-east of England but has joined the Merchant Navy.

In 1911 Margaret and Hannah are living in Hartlepool, Durham, England and Margaret gives her place of birth as Kilmainham, Cavan, Ireland. She is now a widow.
