There is this article in a Scottish paper, the Evening Telegraph, 16 October 1911. It's not a death notice, but a report.
Tidying up the transcription it may read something like this -
FAITHFUL DOG Watches Dead Master's Body. The dead body of John Pratley (60), Brynmawr, was found in Llangattock Quarries this morning, deceased having apparently lost his way during the fog. Deceased's dog was found sitting by his master's body, having evidently been there many hours.
