HI SANDRA,
HIT THE WRONG DIGITS WHEN ASKING TH E QUESTION. WORKING BACKWARDS ONE MAY SAY. MY AUNTIE KEPT A FAMILY TREE FROM THE AGE OF 17 AND SHE IS NOW IN HER 80'S. THANKS TO HER I HAVE MANAGED TO GET AS FAR AS I HAVE ON RESEARCHING THE SHAW FAMILY TREE, AND I DO APPRECIATE YOUR HELP FOR FILLING IN THE GAP ON MY KNOWLEDGE OF RICHARD SHAW, WHO I THOUGHT WAS MY 2ND GREAT GRANDFATHER. HE IS ACTUALLY ONE OF MY GREAT GREAT UNCLES. MY 1ST GREAT GRANDFATHER IS A RICHARD SHAW BORN IN THE YEAR OF 1841, AND IS THE GRANDFATHER OF MY AUNTY MOYA WHO KEPT A RECORD OF THE FAMILY TREE ..
ELIZABETH SHAW (MY GRANDMOTHER) RICHARDS' DAUGHTER, MARRIED JOSEPH DAVIDGE OF PANTLOTTYN, RHYMNEY, MON. SHE WAS AN ABERGAVENNY GIRL AND WHEN THEY WERE MARRIED JOSEPH WENT TO LIVE THERE, ON FLANNEL STREET.
RICHARDS CHILDREN WERE ALL BORN IN FLANNEL STREET, EXCEPT FOR HENRY CECIL ROLLAND SHAW WHO WAS BORN IN MILL STREET, ABER. THANK YOU ALL..
