If your line of NICHOLAS family surname was formerly LEWIS, please contact me.

Our John Nicholas (1783-1873) and his wife, Ann Walters (1791-1841) of Pencwarra Farm,
Mynyydislwyn , Monmouth County, Wales are buried in Hengoed Chapel Cemetery, Gellegaer Parish, Glamorgan County, Wales.

The interesting fact is that John and Ann Nicholas share a 4-sided monument with William
LEWIS (1751-1841) and his wife, Ann (1756-1841) who were from Gellegaer Gwelt Parish in
Glamorgan Co., Wales.

Since our NICHOLAS surname was formerly LEWIS, is there someone who can help
connect these two families?

Any information will be appreciated.
