REES family 1840-1860 Glamorgan "Quakers Row/Rd"

Surnames: Rees,
Is there someone who can tell me anything about what was referred to as "QUAKER ROW/QUAKER Rd" in 1841-1851 in Glamrogan, Wales. Does it mean that the majority of people living there were Quakers or is it just a name. My Rees family lived there. John Rees and Sarah Rees and children.
