I have been very fortunate to have located my grandparents, Richard Trevor and Alice, and great-grandparents, Hugh and Anne, on the LDS site, and they were all in Dolgellau for the 1881 census. The 1881 census also includes in Dolgellau - Edward Jones, a physician, and lists among his sons, Edward Arthur, who lived from 1866 to 1963 and who has some reknown here in Chicago for his lyrics to the hymn, Blodwyn. My question is how - from Chicago - might I go about finding how these two family were related? I know Arthur was a cousin, but no more. Since the father may have had some recognition as a doctor, would there be any source for newspaper or other articles?
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks, Chris Jones
