I am bringing this thread up again, in the hope that someone has made some progress on the Lloyds and can help me.
I have an Evan Lloyd (age 29), who married Elizabeth Griffiths (26) in Maentwrog 10 September 1870. Evan was a Gamekeeper, his father, Robert, was also a Gamekeeper. One witness was Ellis Lloyd.
Elizabeth's father is given as Evan Griffiths, Joiner.
Can anyone shed any light on this before 1870?
I would be interested to know more about the gamekeepers' register. Thanks.
