I've just come off the phone with my uncle Gerald Williams who lives at Ysgwrn Trawsfynydd and we were talking about the family's roots. Although the records indicate we came to Ysgwrn from Yr Wyddor and before that Llanfachreth, he seems to think that the family started in Cwmbychan. I have an email about the family living in Brynsguboriau in Trawsfynydd pre 1800 which says "this also means they are related to the Lloyd family of Cwmbychan and thence Cadwgan ap Bleddyn ap Cynfyn." Does anyone know this family and how they fit into the Ysgwrn family tree?
