Recently discovered my Taylor, Houlston, Evans, Jones, Roberts and Price lines all go back to Quakers who settled in Pennsylvania in the 1680s and 90s. The last four were Welsh. David Evans, son of Edward ap William, married Mary Jones 23 8th mo. 1690 in Pennsylvania. Abel Roberts b. Jan 1677 in Wales, son of Robert Ellis and Ellin his wife, married Mary Price in 1701 in Pennsylvania. If any of these lines are familiar, I would love to hear from you.
My genealogy library is well supplied with PA works and I have seen Merion in the Welsh Tract by Thomas Allen Glenn, which links some of these families to Merionethshire. I know Pennsylvania research, but know nothing about Welsh records, especially Quaker records 400 years old. Would appreciate any help you can offer.
