Help with RECE, REESE, REES, RICE from Montgomeryshire

Classification: Query
Surnames: RECE, REESE, REES, RICE
Seeking help with a RICE family from Montgomeryshire. Our family has little information on the origin except that our lineage stems from David RICE. My Gread Aunt produced a family tree on construction paper, see attached, around 1930 or so. She was our family historian and maintained hundreds of records, pictured, bibles, hand stiched throws, all sorts of stuff, its been a real treat to sort through it all. If you are familiar with this line I actually have Ann DeFoe's (DEFOOR?) w/o Thomas K. RECE bible. My Grand Aunt saved this over the years.

Here is what our family has on this line:

David RECE b. ? (I'm guessing 1694 in Wales)
Thomas RECE b. ? (I'm guessing 1728 in Wales)
Allen RECE b. 7 Oct 1759 d. 29 Nov 1837 (Revolutionary War Veteran)
Joseph RECE b. 27 Aug 1782 d. 1834
Thomas K. RECE
James Thomas RECE b. 07 Jan 1842 d. 09 Mar 1924
Emma Elizabeth RECE b. 25 Nov 1871 d. 28 Aug 1947

I don't have much information on Thomas K. Rece but do have a few pictures on my public family tree passed down into our family.

I don't have anything on David RECE [RICE] b. 1694 which is a complete guess on my part or Thomas Rece b. 1728 which is a guess.

The information on the construction paper simply has notes for David Rece (which is actually spelled RICE) that he come over from Montgomeryshire, Wales.

For his son Thomas b. 1728 (huge guess) it is noted that he is from Wales and his wife was killed by Indians. It simply says Thomas and Wife (killed by Indians).

This is the best noted information passed down through our family about this line.

I am hoping that others can provide additional information on David and Thomas from Wales. I am having a terribly difficult time here and usually find myself trying to use google.com to translate entire sites.

Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you very much in advance!
