Since we last discussed this family I have discovered I need to be seeking perhaps another Evan and Mary [nee Jones] Evans
I am seeking the Evan and Mary Evans family that lived at Tynsarn or Tysia Finnant I think in the years about 1820-1841.
I found an Evan Evans widow there in 1841 census I think it was with John Jones family.
I also found Jane Jones born Tynysarn [old spelling on maps] in about 1765 who died at Tynysarn in 1810.
This makes me wonder if our Evan Evans did not marry Mary Jones...this Jane's daughter instead of Mary or Jane Roberts.
Both fathers of Richard Ashton and Anne Ashton were supposed to be deceased when they married. Yet it has proved that perhaps the couple did not share the proper information on deaths..Evan Evans was a farmer and Charles Ashton a carpenter.
Evan Evans was supposed to be a deceased farmer prior to 12 Feb 1842 Llandinam according to marriage record of Richard Evans and Ann Ashon born cir 1818 Carno.Richard Evans was Ch. 9 Feb 1818 Trefeglwys that died at Tysia Finannt Trefeglwys 1 Jan 1857.
Yet,Anne Ashton's father proved to be alive in 1841,1861,1871 census and not deceased as was stated. 1851 censuses for Charles Evans as well as Richard Evans born 1818 prove the tie between the family who had Charles Ashton 1848-1899 Literary Policeman in it.
Yet I found an Evan Evans in 1841 census of Tynsarn with I think John Jones born about 1820 Trefeglwys and Mary born 1820 who married in 1840. They has one child with them in 1841 census.

Does anyone know who Evan Evans farmer who has son Richard Evans ch 9 Feb 1818 Trefeglwys is?
