Hey my name is Juan Antonio de las Casas and my grandmother was called Mimia, her sister I think was Mignion, her brother was Janillio Montalvo, his son Juanillin who really had a lot of family history in his possession and walls, don't know what happened to it all. Juanillo Sr., as I always heard was once the President of The Havana Yacht Club. I mean with these nicknames they have to be the same people. Back in the 1800's the Casas' and Montalvo's were known to marry. I know I also have "parientes" called de Cardenas and way back O'Farrill and think O'Reilly. I just got on line to see if I could find something on old Juanillo who I used to like so much as a kid, he was always funny, quick witted, with much class. The thing with Juanillin was that he always looked so young and kinda lived off the laurels of his past, was always in my moms art gallery getting a little frame here and there, Maria Calas. As you get older you wonder more about what made you I guess.
