My fiance was born in Cuba..was told his parents are dead and was adopted over to the US..he thinks his parents are still alive..Maria Elena Garcia-Cartas and Manuel Lorenzo Cubas??

I wish you luck in your search for your fiance's parents. Do you have any other information as to siblings his parents may have.

As far as I have been told, the Cartas family is not a large one. I was told we were just "one" family. Currently, the majority are in Florida.

I thought it was weird that your fiance's mother's name is almost like mine. Atleast in Spanish, they are pronounced the same.

Hello...the only info I have is what is on his birth certificate...so I have his mothers name and fathers also his grandparents..mothers side only first names grandfather Manuel Antonio and grandmother Berta...Fathers side is grandfather Alfonso and grandmother Emilina! That's all I have..he said he has brothers and sisters but he doesn't remember their names or how many there were! So are you from Cuba? Yes I think it's strange that your name is so much like his mothers...are you in contact with your mother? If you could please e-mail me directly to see what we might be able to come up with! Hola, Roselyn: No tengo informacion acerca de un "Daniel Cartas". Mi abuelo Juan Cartas llego de Cuba en los años 60's y fallecio el ano pasado con 101 años de edad. Se radico en New Jersey y al retirarse se mudo para la Florida. Todos sus hermanos han fallecido. Todos mis tios estan en los EEUU. Mi tia fue la ultima en llegar hace 8 años. Tu familia es de Cuba? Mi abuelo nacio en Santa Clara. Espero que esta informacion te haya ayudado de alguna manera.
