Thank you for your response. I would be interested to know where you procured the information about the Irish regiments in Spain and of the existence of a O'Higgins and Fallon in Chile. The name Fallon is a deviation from O'Fallon. When England took over Ireland, some Irishmen dropped the "O" in order to have their name appear more non-Irish.
