Hello Regina, I have searched high and and low and was unable to find a physician named Bernardo Nunez de Villavicencio that would had been an adult at the turn of the century. There is a Dr. Emiliano Nunez de Villavicencio y Alvarez born in Havana in 1845. He married Adolfina Palomino y Dominguez 1868 and their children were Amparo, Adelina, Maria Luisa, Adolfo(1882), Raul, Federico, Armando and Enrique (1872) Nunez de Villavicencio y Palomino. Raul's in-law's were Eduardo Adot and Eloisa Rabell y Elzaurdy. Enrique was a a doctor as well. If you can get your hands on your great-great grandfather's death certificate or your great grandmother's baptissmal certificate, it might show Bernardo's full name as well as his mother's name for some greater insight. Hello Tony: I came across your posting on Nunez de Villavicencio, and I'll be interested in sharing some information with you, and compare yours with mine. My branch is from La Laguna,Tenerife.They settled in Guanabacoa; and my ggrandfather went to Matanzas where he raised his family.

The only info that I have is my ancestor "Manuel Nunez Villavicencio", who married Josefa Suarez. They arrived in St. Bernard, LA after leaving the Canary Islands on the boat the "S. S. Sacremento"

My ancestor is Manuel Munel Villavicencio. He arrived in St. Bernard, LA, from the Canary Islands, on the S.S.Sacremento on 26 July 1778.

I have just read your info on your family. I have a few ancestors from La Laguna, Tenerife, C.I.

Pedro Nunez De Vallavicencio and Domingo Nunez De Villavicencio.

I don't know if the others are from La Laguna, but they are from Tenerife.
