Classification: Immigration
Was in one of our local public libraries and just happened to see the fascinating book, "In Motion, the African - American Migration Experience" compiled and edited by Howard Dodson and Sylviane A. Dioue. Pub. New York Public Library and Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture. 2004.
It has very approachable text, maps, diagrams, and photos, with a whole chapter on Caribbean migrations.
There is also an extensive bibliography.
While there are some individuals named, this is mostly in the category of backround reading.
