I am tring to get information on my maternal grand mother and great gran parents along the Gonsalves/z line who came from medeira Portugal in the late 19th century to Trinidad by ship and then onwards to British Guyana. My granmother's name was Conception Carmelita Gonsalves born in Trinidad. She has 3 siblings (2brother and 1 sister, one of which Carlos Rebeiro came with her to Br Guiana at that time.They lived mostly in Meadowbank. I was told that the 2 other siblings went to NY, USA and live in Long Island.
