My expertise is really in the Portuguese who left the Carribean island of Antigua. I know there were thousands of Portuguese (Madeirans in particular) who went to Hawaii but I know very little concerning that Community. However, there is a book put out by the Archives of Madeira which lists the names of people who immigrated from there along with their passport information. This might be helpful to you. Good luck!
