Hi Rick,

Just like you I am wondering if Henrietta and my ggggrandfather Samuel Dyer are related. Can't seem to find that connection either. I was thinking they could be brother and sister. My Samuel seems to have been born around 1791 or 92 acording to the 1841 census living at 18B Hill st. Henrietta Dyer seems to be born around 1774 living at 52B Company St. That's almost a 20 year difference. Since she is unmarried with the same last name I was at first thinking she could have been his mother but maybe not. Yes, it says on 1841 that George Barzey is supported by his mother H Dyer. Is the Henry listed a brother to George and what is the relationship with all of the people on that census?

Also one of Samuel's daughter's names is Margereth H Dyer and I was thinking she was named after Henrietta. I believe the H is for Henrietta. I have her baptismal record. Also I never did try to get a hold of my Samuel's marriage record. I don't know when he would have gotten married but I do know he was married in 1835 because of one of the daughter's baptismal records. The son's are all episcopal.

Maybe I made a mistake saying Margareth Dyer was the mother of Henry and George Barzey. Everything gets so confusing sometimes. How is Henrietta your 4th greatgrandmother?

Leslie
