The 1911 Census of the Danish West Indies shows a family at Estate Rattan headed by Wm Lattimer. An Episcopalian born in Ireland, Lattimer was 56 years old at the time, a widower, and had arrived in the DWI in1878. Children were George age 19, William age 9, Hulda age 8, and James age 6.
An Episcopalian from Ireland suggests Scotch-Irish ancestry. Anyone know where in Ireland he or other Lattimers on St. Croix were from?
