I am also a descendent of the Mueller sons, namely Mathias Mueller. The first known ancestors are Michael and Maria Miller of Amlach, province of Carinthia in Austria. A son Peter was born on Sep. 25, 1694, in Amlach. On Feb. 6, 1719, he married Dorothea Santer who was born Jan. 15, 1694. On Nov. 20, 1721,their son Petrus was born. He was baptised into the Roman Catholic Church the day he ws born. During the trime of his youth he was inluenced by Lutheran teachings which were gaining in popularity. They were given Bibles, which they had never been able to read before. So many people turned to these tweachings that the Roman Catholic Church felt threatened. They tried to stop them with persecution which included beatings, hefty fines, imprisonment - even death. Maria Theresa, the Hapsburg Empress tried tio solve this problem by exiling thousands of Lutherans to Transylvania. They had to leave all behind. They were told that they would starve and that heir children would die. It was in Transylvania that they jopined a group of Hutterites. On Feb. 6, 1763, Petrus and Elisabeth Innenwinkler were married. Their first two children died. On jan. 18, 1768, Peter Mueller was born. On Dec. 3, 1769, his father Petrus was murdered by bandits who plundered the Bruderhof. Peter was orphaned at 5 when Elisabeth died in 1773. Peter married Susanna Stahl. They had seven children. Two brothers, Andreas and Mathias left the Hutterites and married Mennonite women at Niederchortiza in Russia. This is it in a nutshell. There's more information available. Some of this information was printed in the Mennonite Historian and written by Bruce Wiebe.
