Surnames: Bock Pfeil
At the Milwaukee Archdiocese Cemeteries' site www.cemeteries.org it looks like Joseph died in 1923 and Bertha Bock Pfeil in 1934. There are death notices in Milwaukee's German newspapers for Joseph Sr. but not for Bertha. Notices in the English language papers may or may not be identical. In Milwaukee's main newspapers, death notices are placed by, or for, the family; obituaries are written at the discretion of the paper.
There are over 100 Pfeil, and over 115 Bock entries or references found in "Milwaukee's German Newspapers; an index of death notices and related items" (1844-1950).
