You said you had Smole's in your family tree back to 1650. When were they living in Ratece? Do you have any information about where they lived before they came to Ratece.

Lucas Smole is said to have been born about 1753 and was living ex Ratece 34 after marriage in about 1773. Their first two children were born there and the next three in Wurzen. From there the next generations went to Assling, Jesenize.
