I am seeking information concerning my paternal grandmother, Maria Grosschedl, born October 17, 1885 somewhere, I think, in Styria. Her mother's name was Maria Rabl. I do not know the first name of her father. She had six brothers, Jospeh (1882-1944), Louis (1883 - 1939), Karl (1888- 1903), Ferdinand or Fritz (1889 - 1949), August (1891 - 1892) and Franz or Frank (unknown). She also had two sisters: Theresia nee Grosschedl Reindl (1894 - 1955) and Anna or Nonnie (1900 - 1969). All of the family, except for Joseph, Karl, August and Theresia emigrated to America and settled in the Milwaukee, WI area. Maria married my grandfather, Anton Leitgeb, in Milwaukee in 1911. I have reason to believe they met in Austria (around Fehring or Graz) and emigrated to this county together. I am particularly interested in finding the dates of their emigation and if any relatives still reside in Styria.
