Pendl Josef buried in same grave died 1918 at age 53, buried 29th Dec.1918! was born then around 1865.
so if this Barbara was the mother of Leopold, so she was widow since 1918. this would fit i think.

have forgotten to say that "if" he was not of royality more of nobilty. "Royals" in Austria were the family of Habsburg not a family Pendl. how i said i found no nobility Pendl.
the nobility-story maybe about what you have written, as he was from more rich "no working-class":
"My aunt told me Leopold's Family owned a Resturant in Vienna. My mother only told me that grandmother worked in the kitchen and his family threaten him to stay away from her because she was working class and he was not working class and the two don't mix, in public."
but i can not understand that she worked in the kitchen when she has spoken 7 languages. people of "lower working-class" did´nt speak so many languages, as had not the education (school) for that. a little bit a mystery that all i think.... :( maybe some family gossip anywhere?
