mrjaybov,

Where are you getting this name from?

What is the time frame you are speaking of?

Is there a surname associated with this village? If so what is that surname? What is the given name? Did the subject immgigrate? If so where did they settle? What is the birthdate?

The Austria of today is no comparison to the Austria prior to the end of WW I, 1918. That old Austria was part of Austro-Hungarian Empire, which incl all or parts of modern day Austria, Hungary, Poland, Ukraine, Russia, Czech Rep, Slovakia, Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia, Romania, Serbia and Montenegro.... and several of these places had towns/villages which could sound like Shondorf.
