Question about Moravian Church records in the 18th century???!!

Classification: Query
Surnames: LUDWIG
My ancestor, Franz Joseph Ludwig, was born in Austrian or Prussian Silesia in a town called Wanowitz, which is today in Poland and is spelled Wojnowice. When he got to America he was a Moravian. Is it likely that he was from a Moravian family in Wanowitz or perhaps born Catholic?

I can only find Catholic Church records to order for that period on Family Search.

At a loss,

Neil
