We know very little about this man, my great grandfather, except that he was born around 1895 in Austria and ended up marrying my great grandmother in Montana. The family ended up being back and forth across the Canadian border at least once because one child was born there, and could have been in the Dakotas as well. Some of the family is still in Montana.
I am currently trying to get exact details about the man, his exact name, birth date and place, how and when he came to America, his marriage, his death, etc.
We're not even sure what the J. in his name stands for. He was always referred to as J. or Jay.
The way we always heard the name spelled was Blazek, but upon researching ship and immigration records, we have come up with some alternate spellings.
Any help would be appreciated.
