Fritz Thanks for your reply and I will try to answer your questions as good as possible. I just found out a few days ago from my sister that she was given these documents from my mother when she moved out of the town they were in. Yes I grew up with my dad but he did not speak much about his past (what he did or anything else). I got out of him that he was in Hitler's Youth, then again a lot of boys in that time were since Hitler got rid of the Boy Scout program in Germany. As for what happened to the documents I did not know that they existed until now. He did leave Austria in 1951 he was issued a Canadian Immigration Visa on August 30, 1951 in Salzburg Austria and it is stamped by Canada Immigration in Quebec, Quebec on October 29, 1951. He married my mom in Vancouver B.C. Canada in 1960. I don't know what happened to his mother but she did marry a person by the name of Kampmann and had a son by the Name of Otto Kampmann who died sometime before my dad I do believe. His half brother did marry and have children. One is named Kattie (Kampmann) who lives in Germany close to the border of Holland. So I do believe that he grew up with his mom, stepfather and stepbrother. That is all I know at the moment, when I find out more I will post what I know. Thanks for the help and the questions.
