My grandfather, Albert Joseph Skolaut was born in Reschen on Feb 9, 1862. His father was Albert Skolauth, born about 1820 in Johnsdorf, Moravia and died between 1887-1889. He married a Klara Leiter.
Albert Joseph Skolaut came to the United States some time in the 1880's.
Can anyone help me with more information on the family, brothers, sisters, etc. Also would you know when he came to the United States, on what type of ship and from what port. I would be happy to send a lot of information on the fa,mily in the United States.
