Sure -- your messages will stay posted; I just deleted the one that was blank.
One other point: in this version of GenConnect it is important how you enter the surnames in the subject line. The delimiter should always be a comma -- otherwise the surnames might not be picked up correctly for the surname list and for the Surname Helper database. I've edited the subject line; if you post again, please use commas. (The next version of the system will be better in this respect).
Re history and geography: yes, it is very complex. The boarders have changed -- and it is very likely that e.g. Susan's bithplace -- though listed as Austria -- is actually in today's Czech Republic. Parts (e.g. Bohemia, Moravia) used to be part of the Austro-Hungarian empire.
