Hello Debby,
My g-g-grandmother is also Johanna "Anna" Blaschke Richter.
I live in Wharton County, Texas too. Wow -- small world!

Johanna was born 8 April 1846 in Polouvsi, Moravia, according to Moravian Parish Records. She immigrated to America, arriving in New Orleans on 18 May 1872, then traveled to Fayette County, Texas.
Johanna married Franz “Frank” Richter in Fayette County, Texas on 22 July, 1872.
Their children are:
Mary 1872 – 1950 - married Henry Latcham
Anna 1873 –
Emil 1875 – 1968 – married Alice L. Berthold
Adolf 1877 – 1955 – married Irene Christana Berthold, sister of Alice L. Berthold
Louisa 1878 – 1971 – your g-grandmother – married Anton Jurasek
Fred 1881-1908 -- my g-grandfather – married Daisy Ferguson
Albert Anton 1882 – 1971 – married Alma Trojan
Minnie 1886 – 1950 – married Henry Yackel
Hilda 1889 – 1950 – married Adam John Yackel

My g-grandfather Fred died in 1908 when my grandmother, Douglas Richter Schoenfield, was about 9 months old.

I found our g-g-grandmother Anna’s obituary and burial place of Weimer, Texas on the txgenweb site and also in the on-line archives of the Weimer Mercury newspaper. It's on my tree.

According to Moravian Parish Records, Johanna's parents are Mathias Blaschke and Anna Zoller.
In the 1880 census, Mathias was living with his daughter Johanna "Anna" and her family in Fayette County, Texas and is listed as a widower. Johanna's mother, Anna Zoller Blaschke, died on 21 Sep 1876 in Dubina, Fayette County, Texas. She is buried in Sts. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Cemetery in Dubina, Texas.

Johanna Blaschke Richter died on 7 February 1932 in Weimer, Texas.
Franz "Frank" Richter died on 13 March 1936 in Weimer, Texas.
They are buried in Weimer Masonic (aka as Odd Fellows) cemetery.

I am still searching for Franz's parents' names. Franz's village of origin is Jesenik nad Odrou in North Moravia, according to his death certificate.

We have some relatives here in Wharton County and also in Colorado County.

I'd be happy to share my information with you.
