I am trying to find the right geographic place for my g-grandmother's birth in 1867.

My understanding is Austria. I have two data points:
1) 1920 census states "Johannesberg" (in Austria)
2) A daughter's birth certificate states Nationality & birth as "Böhmen, Johanesburg bei Brauman"

Google doesn't display a Johannesberg. Can't find a Brauman either.

Closest guess (from FamilySearch) is Johannesberg as part of "Gablonz, Böhmen, Austria, World" up to 1918.

A name variant is "JONOV NAD NISOU" in today's Czechoslovakia. It seems to be in the northern section of Czech.

Is this consistent?
